Installation Instructions

How do I install the MobiTV on to my Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone?
 Note: Please confirm the type of install file that you have downloaded, prior to using the steps below. In all cases, please make sure that your ActiveSync USB cable is connected your Pocket PC or Smartphone throughout the entire installation process. Once MobiTV has been installed, disconnect your device from the ActiveSync USB cable prior to launching MobiTV for the first time.

To install the .EXE install file:
If you have downloaded the MobiTV.exe install file, just click the installer that was downloaded to your desktop and follow prompts for the auto installation. Once you've successfully installed the application, just leave the username and password fields BLANK and hit "Submit". Enjoy MobiTV!

To install the .CAB install file:

  1. If you clicked on the MobiTV .cab file, as soon as the "Save As" window opens, choose "Desktop" and click "Save."
  2. Open your Microsoft ActiveSync computer software and click the "Explore" icon. Double click the "Mobile Device" icon.
  3. Double click the "Windows" folder. Next, double click the "Start Menu" folder
  4. Double click the "Programs" folder
  5. Now you will drag (or copy and paste) the zipped .CAB file into the "Programs" folder.
    Once the file has been converted, you can unplug your Pocket PC or Smartphone from the USB ActiveSync cable. On your device, tap the "Start" menu, and then tap "Programs." Next, tap the .CAB file. The file will then unpack and leave the file in the Programs folder.
  6. Once you've successfully installed the application, just leave the username and password fields BLANK and hit "Submit". Enjoy MobiTV!
