Admiral B.R. Inman - Board Member of SBC, SAIC, Fluor
Admiral Inman is one of Austin's most well-known and successful Angel investors who, throughout the past 16 years, has invested in over 30 start-up technology companies and taken an active role in their growth and development. His most noticeable successes were Dell and Oracle, where he served on their boards through their successful IPOs. In his prior experience, he attained the rank of four-star U.S. Navy Admiral and served as Director of Naval Intelligence, Director of the National Security Agency, and Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. After his retirement from the military, Admiral Inman was the Chairman and CEO of Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC), and later served as Chairman, President and CEO of Westmark Systems, Inc. He also was Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, and served as a member of the Carnegie Commission on Science, Technology, and Government.
He holds the Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas. He is currently on the Boards of ESPC, Fluor Corporation, Massey Energy Company, SAIC, and Temple Inland Inc

Jarl
Mohn - Private Equity Investor
Jarl Mohn, known as Lee Masters since his radio days, has spent the past 20 years leading some of the media businesses’ most recognized brands and companies from inception to launch. A true visionary in the entertainment space, Mohn divides his time between being a corporate director and advisor to various media and technology companies, and making private equity investments in venture capital and buyout opportunities. Previously, he was the founding President and CEO of Liberty Digital, a public company that invested in interactive television, cable networks and Internet enterprises; creator, President and CEO of E! Entertainment Television; and Executive Vice President and General Manager of MTV and VH1, where he led the strategic development of the networks transition from music videos to longer-form programming, and oversaw its worldwide expansion. Prior to his career in television, Mohn enjoyed a successful 19 year career in radio.
He is currently on the Boards of the E.W.
Scripps Company, CNET and XM Radio and chair of the ACLU
Foundation of Southern California, on the USC Annenberg
School for Communications Board of Councilors, and a

John joined Menlo Ventures in 1985. Prior to joining Menlo, he worked at Intel Corporation in various marketing positions. John focuses primarily on communications, storage, semiconductor, and financial technology investments. His recent investments and board seats include: Cavium Networks, Finaplex, Maranti Networks, Matisse Networks and NetContinuum. Additionally, he is a former director of Digital Insight (DGIN), iBasis (IBAS), SpectraLink (SLNK) and UUNET Technologies (UUNT, now part of MCI). John is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.). Jeff Brody - Founding Partner, Redpoint Ventures
Jeff Brody is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. Prior to founding Redpoint, Jeff was a general partner with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1994. Jeff is focused on investments in new technology companies spanning both enterprise and consumer customers. He currently serves on the board of directors of Danger, MobiTV, Lets Talk, LifeSize, Loopnet, Kodiak, and Mobilygen. Jeff was an early investor and director of Concur Technologies (CNQR), GetThere (GTHR), mySimon (acquired by CNET), NextCard (NXCD), Onebox (acquired by OpenWave), ViaVideo (acquired by Polycom), and Web TV (acquired by Microsoft). Prior to joining Brentwood, Jeff spent six years with Comdisco Ventures. Before Jeff joined Comdisco, he was an Associate at Crosspoint Venture Partners and co-founded a mobile telecommunications company. Mr. Stevenson, a 20-year Silicon Valley veteran, is the President and COO of MetricTest, a provider of test and measurement solutions for the wireless, semiconductor and defense industries. Previous to his leadership role at MetricTest, he served as interim CEO and board member for Broadstorm and prior to that, as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at PacketVideo Corporation. Before joining PacketVideo, Mr. Stevenson was Vice President, Partner and one of the founding members of Mustang Ventures, a venture capital arm of Siemens AG. Earlier in his career, Stevenson held a variety of executive positions in sales, marketing, and management with Honeywell, ROLM, IBM, and Siemens. Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and has served on the advisory boards of several start-up technology companies. |

Dr. Phillip Alvelda is the Chairman of the Board and
co-founder of MobiTV, Inc., the leading provider and
platform for content delivery over mobile and broadband
networks, and the co-founder of the Westminster Institute
for Science Education.
As MobiTV’s founding CEO and Chairman, Dr.
Alvelda led the team that took the idea of “rich
media delivery over wireless networks” from
concept to market leadership with the world's first
live television experience over mobile phones. Under
Dr. Alvelda’s leadership from November 1999
through April 2007, the Company created an entirely
new media distribution channel, now called mobile television. Since MobiTV's debut
on Sprint in November 2003, Dr. Alvelda grew
the Emmy® Award winning service to more
than two million paying subscribers throughout several
international markets, and launched a broadband PC
version of the service in partnership with AT&T. Placing
MobiTV at the center of converged media delivery services,
Dr. Alvelda and his team have been celebrated by the
Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, AlwaysOn,
CNET, Fast Company, Fierce-Wireless, Frost & Sullivan,
Mobile Entertainment, Red Herring and other influencers for innovation
and market leadership.
Previously, Dr.
Alvelda was the founding CEO and CTO of The MicroDisplay
Corporation, a manufacturer of ultra-high resolution
miniature displays for portable systems and low cost
HDTVs. Prior to MicroDisplay, Dr. Alvelda was a developer
of spacecraft hardware and software systems, and
new computing architectures at NASA's Jet Propulsion
Laboratory. Dr. Alvelda
holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Cornell University
and received a Masters and PhD in Computer Science
and Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology (MIT).

Scanlan—President, Co-founder
Paul Scanlan is co-founder and President
of MobiTV, Inc. Since launching MobiTV in 2000,
Scanlan has played a critical role in managing the companies’ growth
from a start-up to the first and only global television
network for cell phones. During his tenure, Scanlan
has been instrumental in launching MobiTV on three of
the nations’ leading cellular carrier networks,
and in securing MobiTV’s current line-up of over
20 well-known channels through negotiations with some
of the nations’ largest television content providers. Additionally,
Scanlan manages all of the companies International efforts
and operations where he has played a key role in generating
the initial momentum and hiring the teams to run the
new MobiTV offices around the world. Scanlan is
a frequent speaker at industry trade shows and conferences,
and is widely respected in the mobile entertainment industry
for his pioneering efforts in mobile multi-media. |

Mr. Annison is the VP of Engineering and co-founder
of MobiTV, and is responsible for all aspects of product specification,
design, development and operations. Prior to MobiTV, Mr. Annison
was a project manager at Hasbro. Before Hasbro, Mr. Annison designed
web browsing wireless handsets at the MicroDisplay Corporation,
and earlier with Team Machina, a high-technology product invention
company. Mr. Annison holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
from UCLA. |

Carano - Managing Partner, Oak Investment Partners
Bandel L. Carano joined Oak as a General Partner in
1985. Bandel has invested in companies with emphasis on design automation
(Centric Software, Interconnectix, Parametric, Synopsys and Tensilica);
telecommunications (2Wire, Airspan, Avici, CommVerge, CoreTek, Endwave,
FiberTower, General Bandwidth, Metawave, NeoPhotonics, Netopia,
PictureTel, Polycom, PulsePoint, Qtera, ReliOn, Sentient Networks,
Tegic, Trapeze, Wellfleet, White Rock Networks and WFI); software
(Entropic, firstRain, Illustra/Informix, Sybase, Tele Atlas and
Visto); and advanced semiconductors (Actel, Airgo, CommQuest, Kenet,
Level 5, NemeriX, Newport Media, nLight, Plastic Logic, Resonext,
SMIC, Solarflare, Stretch, Synaptics and Virata). Prior to Oak,
Bandel worked with Morgan Stanley's Venture Capital Group. He was
responsible for advising Morgan Stanley on high-tech new business
development, as well as sponsoring venture investments. Bandel received
BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
He currently serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Stanford
Engineering Venture Fund.

Simon
Bax -Board Member
Simon Bax brings more than two decades
of valuable experience in corporate financing and operations,
as well as key entertainment industry relationships
to the MobiTV board of directors. Most recently, Bax
was EVP and CFO at Pixar Animation Studios. During
his time at Pixar he was directly responsible for finance,
administration, and investor relations, while overseeing
marketing, distribution and consumer products. His
role with the Pixar earned him recognition for “Bay
Area CFO of the Year” by San Francisco Business
Times. Between 2002 and 2006, Bax was chairman
of SmartJog, a technology startup that was purchased
by TDF in August 2006. Before 2002, Simon served as
the CFO and president of studio operations for FOX
Filmed Entertainment for eight years. He joined FOX
from TBWA\Chiat\Day advertising, where he also played
the role of CFO. Simon is a graduate of Gonville and
Caius College, Cambridge in England. He trained as
a Chartered Accountant in London with Stoy Hayward & Co
where he was named partner in 1986. He is a member
of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts
and serves on several boards including Docufide, the
ODC/Dance Company, the Berkeley Art Museum and the
Caius Foundation.
