MobiTV and Live 105 Announce Mobifest—Live Concert Event to Promote Charity and Community
MobiTV Invites Bay Area Music Fans to Come Enjoy Top Local Rock and Hip Hop Bands Including Zion I, Audrye Sessions, Keith Varon, Karmacy, Dear Kerosene, and Furlong
EMERYVILLE, CA – August 8, 2006 - MobiTV, Inc., and Live 105 proudly present MobiFest™, a free, 21+ friendly, music, food and mobile technology event to be held August 17th from 5:30 to midnight at Bimbo’s 365 Club in San Francisco. MobiFest will be held as a benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Youth Speaks and will feature top local rock and hip hop bands including Zion I, Audrey Sessions, Keith Varon, Karmacy, Dear Kerosene, and Furlong.
“With MobiTV’s recent headquarter move to Emeryville complete, MobiFest will bring together top local artists, fans, and neighbors, along with rising Bay Area poets for one night of great entertainment,” said Ana Recio, vice president of HR for MobiTV.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations and will be rewarded with MobiFest bags and other great giveaways. MobiTV will host a technology booth to give attendees a hands-on view of how MobiTV works on mobile phones, laptops and PDAs. The company will also be conducting a raffle and handing out prizes to concert goers.
