MOBITV NAMED MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT TRAILBLAZER BY CNET NETWORKS GAMES & ENTERTAINMENT IN THIRD ANNUAL MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT AWARD CEREMONY

SAN FRANCISCO, April 11, 2006 – At CTIA WIRELESS 2006, MobiTV was awarded a Mobi award as a Mobile Entertainment Trailblazer. The company pioneered TV on mobile phones and announced at the show that it had reached one million subscribers worldwide. CNET Networks Games & Entertainment, which includes GameSpot, MP3.com, and TV.com.
The Mobies, chosen by a panel of CNET Networks editorial experts, are the industry's only awards recognizing excellence in mobile entertainment innovation, design, and technical achievement. Awards were given in eight categories and included a new category in 2006 to recognize companies for outstanding innovation in mobile entertainment.
