Charlie Nooney - Chairman and CEO

Charlie Nooney is a seasoned media executive, with a career dedicated to connecting media and mainstream brands with consumers through emerging technologies. In his capacity as CEO, Nooney drives corporate and business strategy to grow distribution, drive adoption and strengthen the relationships with MobiTV, Inc.’s carrier, content and OEM partners. Nooney has been pivotal in evolving MobiTV, Inc’s vision to more personalized, relevant and immediate mobile experiences for users.

Prior to MobiTV, Inc, Nooney held a number of executive positions including president at Technicolor Network Services, chairman for Screenvision and CEO of Premier Retail Networks. Nooney also spent 15 years with Disney/ABC Cable networks as executive vice president of affiliate sales and marketing.

Nooney holds a BA in Urban Studies and Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).

Paul Scanlan - President, Co-Founder

Paul Scanlan is co-founder and president of MobiTV, Inc. In this role, he leads all aspects of the company’s sales and partnering efforts. Scanlan’s entrepreneurial view is balanced with a proven track record of wins, having driven the launch of the MobiTV application on three of the nations’ leading cellular carrier networks.

Previously, Scanlan served as managing partner and executive vice president with Enterprise IG, where he managed the company’s technology consulting practice and was instrumental in successfully expanding and growing the business. Prior to Enterprise IG, Scanlan cofounded a boutique advertising agency in Chicago. Scanlan launched his career in telecommunications sales at Lucent Technologies.

Scanlan holds a Bachelor in Communications from the University of Wisconsin.

Kay Johansson - Chief Technology Officer

Kay Johansson serves as the Chief Technology Officer at MobiTV, Inc. driving the creation, development and deployment of video and TV technologies on hundreds of mobile handsets on all major device platforms. In this capacity, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s technology plan and has been instrumental in scaling MobiTV Inc.’s end-to-end video and TV delivery infrastructure to meet the increasing consumer demand of entertainment on mobile handsets and devices, as well as driving the vision behind the company’s DRM offering, its hybrid approach to mobile DTV and its vision for Multiple Screen delivery.

Prior to joining MobiTV, Inc in 2006, Johansson served as the CTO of Popwire, a former Ericsson company, where he led development and product strategy. He has extensive experience building media delivery solutions from server to handset. Johansson is co-inventor of two patents for streaming and bandwidth adaptation techniques over wireless networks submitted by Popwire.

Anders Norström - Chief Operating Officer

Anders Norström is the Chief Operating Officer of MobiTV, Inc and is responsible for the seamless collaboration among key departments including Operations, Engineering and Systems Integration.

Before being appointed COO, Norström managed MobiTV, Inc’s European deployment as Managing Director. With more than 15 years in the mobile and communications industries, he joined MobiTV from Popwire Technology formerly owned by Ericsson. During his tenure as CEO/COO of Popwire, Norström played a key role at Ericsson in facilitating the first 3G broadcast. In addition to Popwire, he has served in an executive capacity for Terbis AB, Pronadron Communication and OKQ8.

Norström holds a MBA in International Business Strategies from Stockholms Universitet in Sweden.

Ray DeRenzo - Chief Marketing Officer

Ray DeRenzo is the Chief Marketing Officer at MobiTV, Inc. and is responsible for the strategic direction of marketing, product and programming at the company.

Throughout his career, DeRenzo has been at the forefront developing new products and new markets based on emerging technologies. He has led international expansion efforts for several technology and wireless service ventures. Prior to joining MobiTV, Inc., DeRenzo was the vice president of business development at Telephia a leading provider of competitive benchmarking research and consulting services focused on the global wireless industry. Past engagements also include vice president-CMO for Vodafone’s Global Platform and Internet Services group which has developed and deployed the enabling technology behind Vodafone Live!

He holds an MBA in International Business from St. Mary’s College of California

Bill Losch - Chief Financial Officer

Bill Losch is the Chief Financial Officer for MobiTV, Inc. and brings more than two decades of experience in the corporate financial field to the Company’s executive team; boasting executive leadership positions across key markets including entertainment, technology and financial. Losch is responsible for all finance and administration functions including corporate finance, accounting and control, legal affairs and human resources.

Losch joined MobiTV, Inc. from DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc., where he managed all accounting and control, financial reporting, treasury, and tax functions as the Company’s chief accounting officer (CAO). Losch was an integral part of the management team responsible for a highly successful initial public offering in October 2004.

Prior to DreamWorks Animation SKG, Losch served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Yahoo!, Inc., where he was responsible for the Company’s day-to-day accounting operations and corporate accounting and control, financial reporting, budget and forecasting, risk management and facilities.

Between 1993 and 1998, Losch held multiple VP-level positions for Universal Studios, Inc., and prior to that, he worked at KPMG Peat Marwick with responsibility for managing audit and other financial service engagements for commercial banks, real estate and entertainment companies.

Losch holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from The University of California at Los Angeles and is a licensed CPA (inactive) in the State of California.

Rick Herman - SVP, Business and Corporate Development

Rick Herman drives strategic planning and execution at MobiTV, Inc, as the technology company continues to grow its footprint with an end to end managed service platform that delivers solutions to multiple screens. In his role, Herman identifies and evaluates strategic relationships and manages the execution of alliances, partnerships and agreements to support a global corporate vision. He supervises and executes the company’s business and corporate development efforts, and, additionally, he oversees content and programming for the company.

An industry veteran, Herman joined MobiTV from Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) where he was SVP, Business and Legal Affairs in San Diego. While there, he was responsible for many of the company’s strategic transactions related to content acquisition, distribution and development, throughout the world. Additionally, Herman reviewed and executed acquisition opportunities and the implementation of the company’s investment strategy, including the negotiation of equity positions in new technology companies. Prior to his role at SOE, Herman served as Associate General Counsel of At Home Corporation (Excite@Home) where he managed and supervised the negotiation and structure of many of the company’s significant commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic alliances, with a particular emphasis on media, entertainment, and cable/carrier matters.

Herman holds a JD from Loyola Law School and a BA from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Tracy Coté - VP Human Resources

Tracy Coté is VP Human Resources at MobiTV, Inc. In this role, she focuses on the development and implementation of people strategy and world class HR programs to attract and retain top talent in an environment that proactively addresses the professional and organizational needs of the company and its employees.

Prior to MobiTV, Coté held leadership positions in HR with international responsibility at digital marketing agency Organic and at Charles Schwab. She is a member of the faculty at San Francisco State University where she has taught classes in the Human Resources Management Program since 2005.

Coté holds a BA in English from Sonoma State University and regularly contributes articles on HR thought leadership to various outlets.

Stephen Coney - VP Engineering

As VP of Engineering at MobiTV, Inc., Stephen Coney is responsible for the development and integration of the MobiTV's converged media platform. Stephen has over 12 years' experience managing teams delivering mobile applications to the telecommunication industry. Before MobiTV, Stephen spent 6 years working at Vodafone Australia and Vodafone Americas developing and deploying Vodafone's Global Platform and Internet Services.

Stephen holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Hons) from Auckland University in New Zealand.

Bill Routt - VP Operations

As VP Technical Operations at MobiTV, Inc., Bill Routt is responsible for the strategic vision and day-to-day operations that drive the stability, reliability, quality, and 24x7 monitoring of MobiTV’s end to end managed service platform.

Prior to MobiTV, Routt spent 11 years at Sprint in various leadership roles in Sprint Technology Integration Center and Network Development. He was responsible for the design, development, testing and integration for complex wireless platforms: messaging, wireless access, multimedia streaming, VOIP and core IP routing.

He is an expert in wireless enhanced data services, as well as routing and switching.

Routt holds a BA from Florida Atlantic University and an MS from Southern Methodist University.

Ellen McDonald

Ellen McDonald - VP General Counsel and Secretary

Ellen McDonald joined MobiTV, Inc in 2005, bringing a broad range of legal experience, with a focus on intellectual property matters. McDonald’s career has included positions at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM.

McDonald received her BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and her JD from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall).
