Charlie Nooney - Chairman and CEOCharlie Nooney is the CEO and chairman for MobiTV, Inc. Nooney is a seasoned media executive, with a career dedicated to connecting media and mainstream brands with consumers through emerging technologies. Prior to joining MobiTV, Nooney was president at Technicolor Network Services (TNS) where he was responsible for supporting a wide range of media companies, content owners, channel operators and corporate media networks including BBC Worldwide, Canal+, Disney and ITV. He managed TNS global operations, strategic direction, retail growth, cinema networks and broadcast services. Nooney also served as chairman for ScreenVision, the countrys leading in-theater advertising network, through the ScreenVisions joint venture relationship with Thomson. |
Admiral Bobby R. Inman, USN (Ret.) - Board Member of SBC, SAIC, FluorAdmiral Inman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1950, and from the National War College in 1972. He became an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Austin in 1987. He was appointed as a tenured professor holding the Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy in August 2001. He served as Interim Dean of the LBJ School of Public Affairs from 1 January to 31 December 2005. Admiral Inman served in the U.S. Navy from November 1951 to July 1982, when he retired with the permanent rank of Admiral. While on active duty he served as Director of the National Security Agency and Deputy Director of Central Intelligence. After retirement from the Navy, he was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Microelectronics and Computer Technology Corporation (MCC) in Austin, Texas for four years and Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Westmark Systems, Inc., a privately owned electronics industry holding company for three years. Admiral Inman also served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas from 1987 through 1990. Admiral Inmans primary activity since 1990 has been investing in start-up technology companies, where he is a Managing Partner of Gefinor Ventures. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Massey Energy Company and of several privately held companies. He serves as a Trustee of the American Assembly and the California Institute of Technology. He is a Director of the Public Agenda Foundation and is an elected Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration. |
John Jarve - Managing Director, Menlo VenturesJohn Jarve joined Menlo Ventures in 1985. Prior to joining Menlo, he worked at Intel Corporation in various marketing positions. Jarve focuses primarily on communications, storage, semiconductor, and financial technology investments. His recent investments and board seats include: Cavium Networks, Finaplex, Maranti Networks, Matisse Networks and NetContinuum. Additionally, he is a former director of Digital Insight (DGIN), iBasis (IBAS), SpectraLink (SLNK) and UUNET Technologies (UUNT, now part of MCI). Jarve is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering) and the Stanford University Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.). Jeff Brody - Founding Partner, Redpoint VenturesJeff Brody is a founding partner of Redpoint Ventures. Brody is focused on investments in technology companies spanning both enterprise and consumer customers. He currently serves on the board of directors of HomeAway, JumpTap, Kodiak Networks, LifeSize Communications and MobiTV. Brody was an early investor and director of Danger (acquired by Microsoft), Fraud Sciences (acquired by eBay), Concur Technologies (CNQR), Loopnet (LOOP), ZING Systems (acquired by Dell), GetThere (GTHR), mySimon (acquired by CNET), NextCard (NXCD), Onebox (acquired by OpenWave), ViaVideo (acquired by Polycom), and WebTV (acquired by Microsoft). Before co-founding Redpoint, Brody was a general partner with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1994. Prior to Brentwood, Brody was at Comdisco Ventures and Crosspoint Venture Partners. Early in his career, Brody co-founded a mobile telecommunications company and worked as a field engineer for Schlumberger Ltd. in Europe and Africa. Vern Stevenson - President & CEO, MetricTestVern Stevenson, a 20-year Silicon Valley veteran, is the President and CEO of MetricTest, a provider of test and measurement solutions for the wireless, semiconductor and defense industries and a division of Microlease, Inc. He also serves on the MetricTest board of directors. Previous to his leadership role at MetricTest, he served as interim CEO and board member for Broadstorm and prior to that, as Vice President of Corporate and Business Development at PacketVideo Corporation. Before joining PacketVideo, Stevenson was Vice President, Partner and one of the founding members of Mustang Ventures, a venture capital arm of Siemens AG. Earlier in his career, Stevenson held a variety of executive positions in sales, marketing, and management with Honeywell, ROLM, IBM, and Siemens. Stevenson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley and has served on the advisory boards of several start-up technology companies. |
Paul Scanlan - Co-Founder and President of MobiTV, Inc.Paul Scanlan is a Co-Founder and President of MobiTV, Inc. In this role, Scanlan manages all aspects of the companys sales, marketing and partnering efforts. Scanlan has been intimately involved in defining and evolving the companys business plan, and its partnering and corporate strategies. Scanlan has driven the launch of MobiTV on three of the nations leading cellular carrier networks, and has helped secure MobiTVs current line-up of over 25 well-known channels through negotiations with some of the nations largest television content providers. Additionally, Scanlan manages the companys International efforts and operations where he has played a key role in generating the initial momentum and hiring the teams to run the new MobiTV offices around the world. Previously, Scanlan was Managing Partner and Executive Vice President with Enterprise IG, where he managed the companys technology consulting practice and was instrumental in successfully expanding and growing the business. Prior to Enterprise IG, Scanlan cofounded a successful advertising agency in Chicago, and prior to that he worked in telecommunications sales at Lucent Technologies (formerly AT&T). Scanlan holds a Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Wisconsin. |

Mr. Bax graduated with a B.A. from the University of Cambridge in England and is qualified as a chartered accountant in England and Wales. |
Steven R. Goodbarn, Board Member and CEO, Secure 64 SoftwareSteven R. Goodbarn has served as Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Secure 64 Software Corporation, a developer of secure infrastructure software he co-founded, since 2002.
